Checklist for Your Next Party
Planning a party is tough! You have to manage your guest list, decorations, caterer, music, centerpieces, party favors, etc.
Here at Boston Studio Rental, we have had the pleasure of celebrating many milestones with families across Massachusetts and New England.

Event after event, whether it was a birthday party, retirement party, baby shower, bridal shower, or graduation party, we noticed our party hosts would forget certain key items that are essential for a flawless party experience.
Here’s a checklist of small things that typically get missed/forgotten during event planning.
Serving utensils - be sure to pack tongs and serving spoons
Utensils, plates, and cups - ensure you have enough for the entire event. If you are serving hors d'oeuvres, dinner, and dessert, you will need utensils and plates for each.
Also, pack extra plates so guests can take leftovers home at the end of the function.
Napkins - accidents and spills happen so be prepared by having extra napkins ready.
Cake knife - you ordered a gorgeous custom cake for the party be prepared to cut and serve the cake with a cake knife.
Chafing dishes and sternos chafing fuel - be sure to bring extra sternos to keep the food hot throughout the entire event.
Lighter - you will need a lighter to light the cake candles and sternos
To go boxes or aluminum foil - you never want to run out of food at a function, so you end up ordering way more than you need for your party guests. Don’t let the food go to waste! Have to go boxes available so guests can take food home after the festivities.
Large bags - large trash bags are helpful when it’s time to clean and pack up at the end of the event. Decorations, supplies, and gifts can be bagged up for easy loading in your car.
Entertainment - whether it is a photo booth, karaoke, games, or face painting, plan ahead to keep your party guests engaged and entertained.
